Orr's Island Campground is a mostly seasonal campground, with a few weekly-minimum sites for self-contained campers only—no tents or pop-ups—on a 42-acre point of land on the Maine coast surrounded by a half-mile of beach and ocean breezes.
We are situated on picturesque Casco Bay, in the middle of a three-island chain running south out of Brunswick on Route 24. We accept dogs, but only one per site.
We are accepting applications for seasonal stays. The 2012 season runs from 9 AM on Saturday, May 19, to 5 PM on Sunday, October 7.
The currently available seasonal sites are non-view sites along Midship and Port Roads. Some may have distant glimpses of the water.
All of the waterfront and waterview sites on the North, South and Rocky Bluffs, Cove Road and Starboard Road are booked at this time.
Please call or preferably e-mail to receive further information by USPS mail and/or to arrange a time to visit to look at the available sites.
We are accepting reservations for weekly stays with Saturday arrivals and departures on Sites 43A and 45 on the North Bluff. Most remaining openings are in late June and mid-September.
We are also accepting reservations for weekly-minimum stays with flexible arrival and departure dates on non-view Midship Road sites. Openings on the non-view sites are available throughout the summer months.
Please contact us to receive a reservation form to send in with the required deposit to make a reservation.
For stays of less than a week, please call or e-mail a day or two in advance to check on availability and to arrange an arrival time as registration times are available by appointment only on weekdays.
Updated April 25, 2012
Orr’s Island Campground has been open for low-key camping on the beautiful coast of Casco Bay since 1978. Originally including tent camping and short-term stays, it is now a mostly-seasonal campground for self-contained rigs.
