Orr's Island Campground is a mostly seasonal campground, with a few weekly-minimum sites for self-contained campers only—no tents or pop-ups—on a 42-acre point of land on the Maine coast surrounded by a half-mile of beach and ocean breezes.
We are situated on picturesque Casco Bay, in the middle of a three-island chain running south out of Brunswick on Route 24. We accept dogs, but only one per site.
We are accepting applications for seasonal stays. The 2013 season will open on Saturday, May 18, and close on Sunday, October 6. Please contact us to make an appointment to tour the campground to view the available sites, and to receive an information packet. The seasonal sites still available for 2013 are non-view sites on Midship Road at the rate of $2,250 plus tax and reimbursement for metered electric usage.
All of the waterfront and waterview sites on the North, South and Rocky Bluffs, Cove Road and Starboard Road are booked for the season.
Please call or preferably e-mail to receive further information by USPS mail and/or to arrange a time to visit to look at the available sites.
We are now accepting reservation requests for the 2013 season for weekly or monthly stays. Please contact us to determine availability and to obtain a reservation form.
We accept reservations in advance for weekly stays. The two North Bluff waterview sites are booked for Saturday to Saturday stays. At this time there are some very limited openings for the waterview sites: July 6 to 13 and August 17 to 24 on Site 43A. Weekly stays with flexible arrival and departure dates are available on a few non-view sites on Midship Road as well. Some of the non-view sites on Midship Road may also be available on a limited basis for overnight stays with last-minute arrangements. Please contact us for more details.
Updated May 4, 2013
Orr’s Island Campground has been open for low-key camping on the beautiful coast of Casco Bay since 1978. Originally including tent camping and short-term stays, it is now a mostly-seasonal campground for self-contained rigs.
